This website is great :) I'm so glad I found it! After doing a little research, I have a question, and this seems like the appropriate place to post it.

I could either be a pear or hourglass, I'm not sure, but either way I feel I need to balance the size of my hips (HUGE) with my slim upper body (even though I have straight shoulders, they're no match to my HUGE hips). So my question is: will boleros, shrugs and cropped cardis help me do that? If yes, should I look for a particular style? (fitted, puffy sleeves, long-sleeved, buttoned, unbuttoned...?). I would like to balance things out particularly when wearing jeans, as dresses and skirts flatter more easily.

In Australia we are in mid Autumn, but it is still pretty warm. Is it too much of a spring look to still be wearing my sleeveless dresses? I thought perhaps a black sleeveless dress with a cropped cardigan and black tights.

I love these types of layers! It helps when I'm needing to transform my look from work to evening...just remove a layer and I'm ready to out for the evening.
