Rising above your belly with style is not easy when it comes to jeans. The rise (distance between the crotch and the waistband) of a pair of trendy and updated denims is often still too low. But DKNY has the answer: a style called the “soho”. For women with a little extra around the midsection, their extra dark wash, slight stretch, boot cut hem and snugly contoured higher rise make them a smart, sophisticated, comfortable and current-looking option. And their affordable price of $48 makes them an even better find!

You’ll find DKNY’s soho jeans in department stores like Nordstrom, Macy’s and Neiman Marcus.

Great! I’ve just sent the link to my mom who will LOVE the fact that they’re half the price of the NYDJ (Not Your Daughter’s Jeans).

I LOVE my NYDJ – but I don’t love the price. I am going to check out the DKNY sohos and see if I can add another pair of trendy jeans to my wardrobe. Especially as I am trying to lose some weight gained over the holidays and work-related travel – I would prefer NOT to spend $100 for pants that hopefully will be too big soon!

Hi Angie:
Will definetly check them out. I’d love to save some money – hope the fit is the same as NYDJ.

Well, I went to Macy’s and bought two pair. The sales lady who was helping me just about went into shock because I walked in, asked for them, pulled out two sizes tried them on and they fit.
She said she had never seen anyone find a pair of jeans that fit correctly so fast! Thank You!!

SOHO’s ROCK!!! received more compliments from them than my 2 y/o ~$100 Humanity jeans (granted they were neither dark denim nor free of distressed effects).
unenlightened (and expensive) choice on my part.
if you can, be sure to grab 2 pairs: 1 for flats, 1 for heels. you will look great and for the good deal, feel like a smartypants, literally
