I am all for the flat boots as I have worn out my black leather push down pair. Thanks for your list of best and worst - good summary! Leggings were definitely a young thing. If youngsters are going to wear 20 inch mini skirts, then they might as well leggings underneath them. I think that thick opaque leggings looked fab on the older women who wore them the correct way (with a longer skirt and heels or ballet flats) and had the spirit and personality to go with it. I think that thick opaque leggings looked fab on the older women who wore them the correct way (with a longer skirt and heels or ballet flats) and had the spirit and personality to go with it.

I tried them... but they just made me look odd-shaped. And they reminded me too much of my junior high days. I also disliked leggings, as well as bubble skirts (which look ridiculous to me).
