I'm 5ft2 and I will wear my ballet flats with my pencil skirt if that's okay with you! Sorry I'm not 'regular' height, maybe the fashion police should arrest me.

Have you tried heel grips Katerine? You can get then at the drug store or Payless for about $1.

My problem with ballet flats (beside the lack of support, which can be fixed with an insole) is that I have NEVER found a pair in which my heel doesn't slip out in the back! Is this a style of the shoe issue or do I have to just try to break in a pair until it molds to my feet? Are there specific attributes I should be looking for, like only made of leather?

Thanks!
